Catalogs

I love catalogs especially those rare few who have such incredible photography and styling that you pour over them like a good magazine. These three catalogs fit into such a category ... JCrew, TOAST and Anthropologie.

Hayden-Harnett for Target

I'm absolutely, positively in love with these items from the new Hayden-Harnett for Target collection which debuts on December 28th. If they are as gorgeous in person as in the photos then I will definitely be getting one or two.

I love to watch the "classics" from my childhood during the holidays and these are some that we viewed every year. My most favorite would have to be "A Christmas Story" since my brother and I have watched this movie so much growing up we can quote the entire movie (seriously).

She & Him

I have always liked classic country music like Johnny, Patsy, Loretta etc. and have craved some since my visit to Tennessee. However, I am currently loving She & Him, who have a little old-school country flavor but still very modern. Plus, who doesn't adore the uber-cool Zoey Deschanel?

Diet 7UP Pomegranate. This stuff looks and sounds delicious, yet remains a mystery to me since I cannot find it anywhere. If anyone has seen this beverage or can provide any information on it's whereabouts please contact immediately!!

Parade and Peanuts

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is for many a huge part of the upcoming holiday, whether you sit down to watch with the whole family or just have it on in the background while cooking up a storm in the kitchen. The Crate & Barrel Holiday catalogue arrived today, and to what did my wandering eyes did appear ... but this incredible ornament set depicting "The 12 Days of Christmas". I have wanted these since discovering them last year via The Land of Nod catalogue. Perhaps this year they just might make it on or under the tree.

I saw this trailer tonight for "The Secret Life of Bees" and was so excited!! I absolutely loved the book (thanks Niki) and am hoping the movie will be just as good. It looks like it just might be with so many incredible actresses ... not to mention a pretty good soundtrack too.

One of the newest scents from Bath and Body Works "The Perfect Autumn" collection by Slatkin & Co. Absolutely the exact scent of autumn. Conjuring up thoughts of all things related : leaves, apples, spices, being outdoors, warm beverages, crisp breezes, clear skies, the colors etc.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist

I am so excited about this movie ... one I actually want to go see in the theater rather than wait for the rental. It also reminds me of being back in high school and heading out with a friend on a Friday or Saturday night to catch the latest "must-see" movie.

Pushing Daises

This show is quirky and adorable, plus Lee Pace being so easy on the eyes, it is pretty hard to resist. So, even though I only caught a few episodes last season I'm really excited for its return on October 1st.

Breaking Dawn

So, this came out on Saturday and my own personal copy was supposed to arrive at my home. I was beyond upset when it didn't show up in my mailbox. These past few days have been torture knowing that had it arrived on-time, I could be devouring every page like so many others. I am really hoping that tomorrow will be delivery day at last ... if not then I might have to purchase another and just return the pre-ordered when it finally does arrive. Oh please, oh please USPS come through for me soon!!!

I have been waiting for this movie to finally be released on dvd ... the wait is over this Tuesday, July 15th when it will be available for purchase. It is such a great lil' modern fairytale that is so unique from the characters and story down to the well designed title graphics. I'll be buying and watching the same night!!

1 Litre

I am on a mission to find and purchase this water, 1 Litre. I'm normally not very particular about my bottled water but this packaging is gorgeously sleek and modern ... plus the lid serves as a cup too. Perhaps I'll locate some in the near future and hopefully it won't be too expensive.

New Shoes

A guy on my Cameroon trip had the male-version of these and so upon returning home I tracked some down for me; they are called Voyager by Propet. The brand is known for walking shoes but they could also be used around water since they have an anti-fungal insole and rubber "croc-like" outsole. I love them because they are a great looking shoe that can go anywhere and are a much hipper alternative to Crocs. I purchased mine at our local White Jones ACE Hardware (of all the places) but you can find them plus check out other colors etc. on the Propet website.

Eames Stamps

I've been hearing about these stamps for quite some time through my various daily-read blogs and they have finally arrived. They definitely look pretty rad and thinking I'll probably pick some up on my next visit to the post office.

Mamma Mia!

I haven't been able to get this song out of my head thanks to tons of advertising everywhere. I'm starting to get excited about seeing the movie now, with the reviews sounding really good and it being such the quintessential summer flick. I will probably even check it out with my own ABBA loving Mama Mia!

Viva La Vida

I have not purchased an actual cd in a really long time, but the reviews on this one were just too much to resist. Plus, I'm really loving the cover artwork.
